and for months I've been saying this: WOW, POLYVORE.. IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME. There are so many changes to the website that I really don't think were necessary. But, whatever. yep. :)
Most of the products I used to create this look were from Ulta's new Blockbuster palette. You can check it out at the link below. It's on sale! http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod3820211#
I recieved this for my birthday, and I was so excited to give it a try. It has so many nice colors, and the quality of the makeup was much better than I expected. If you want to learn how I created a brown smokey eye look with smudgy purple liner, keep on reading :)
Step one: Take a flat brush and pat Silk onto your entire lid, bringing it slightly around the tear duct area
Step two: Using a back and forth motion, work Toast into the crease of your eye, or the hollow using any crease brush.
Step 3: Add Cocoa Bean to the outer V of your eye using a smaller crease brush, or pencil brush.
Step 4: Using an angled liner brush, line your upper lash line with Molten to give a smudgy effect.
Step 5: Take the liner in Plum and line your bottom lash line.
Step 6: Pat Plum Noir over the liner with an angled liner brush for a more smoked out effect.
Step 7: Swipe a light pink lipstick like Rimmel London's Airy Fairy on your lips, and you're done!
i've been doing a lot of reminiscing about what polyvore was like. i miss the simple things that got everyone so excited, like @kneesock 's trendy real sets & showcases. it just seems like everyone's gone on here. and i miss @gwyn . -mellieheart loved polyvore before
I have just been HACKED by KittyGLEEKKat! Mellie, i love you sooo much!! You're the coolest, nicest, most down to earth person I know. I would trade all of my so called friends just for you! <3 Kitty
